as long as 12 hours for the Xbox, due to go
on sale at one minute past midnight on November
22nd, 2005. All were eager to be among the first
to buy this must-have leisure item for the holiday
season.
But instead of using a number system, the store
manager announced that the Xboxes would be sold
on a first-come, first-served basis, so triggering
the mayhem.
All hell broke loose, according to one man who
had been waiting in line since 4 p.m.
